Director of Research and Innovation

The Director of Research amp; Innovation leads fundamental research and discovery and organizes the New Business Opportunities team of Restek in a manner that catalyzes the growth of our business while fulfilling the following business obligations: introduce new, high quality products at a rate that astonishes the competition (including leading negotiations to license outside technology); redesign legacy products as required; achieve levels of customer service that delight the customer; execute the introduction of new products, processes (including documentation), and business ideas that create an excellent rate of return for our shareholders; and provide a positive, learning work environment that meets the needs of our employees. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, with Chemistry preferred, master's degree or PhD preferred. A minimum of 5 years of executive level experience in a manufacturing environment of at least $50 million in revenues is also required.
