Why is my quartz liner white?

In the past, our quartz liners were clear, like our glass liners, but our current manufacturing process allows tighter outside diameter tolerances and gives the liners a frosted, translucent appearance. Only the outside is affected; the interior surface is still smooth and polished, and you should see no difference in performance.
