Crimpers and Decappers for Headspace
The crimper is adjustable for optimized sealing performance and is comfortable enough for prolonged use. If you need to save, transfer, or dispose of your samples, our decapper allows you to remove a crimp-top cap safely and easily.
The newly redesigned electronic crimpers and decappers have a 4.8 volt battery already installed. The new battery allows for quick, powerful operation and a faster charge cycle, minimizing downtime. Charging the battery now only takes thirty minutes to two hours. Also, the power supply comes with a plug set for operation in most countries. The universal plug set includes U.S., European, UK and Australian plug clips.
These hand-held electronic tools for the 20mm caps will cycle hundreds of times on a single charge. The cycle is controlled precisely, through an internal counter, and is adjusted with two buttons on the side of the case. The crimpers and decappers easily fit around vials in a standard autosampler tray. Each kit includes a tool, a 4.8v battery, which allows for a faster charge cycle, and a universal plug set for the battery charger.
